Are you a middle schooler or a parent/guardian of a middle schooler that is interested in registering BHS Softball program?  Middle school players are now welcome to register for the 2023 season. You can do so by using ParentVue and going under "Fees". There will then be a button to pay for fees and activities. Please note the same rules apply you must have a current sports physical on file with the HS prior to registration.

Middle school player tryouts will be the week of 3/20/2023 - 3/24/2023. Players will only earn spots if needed for viability on the 9th grade team. Preference may be given to pitchers and catchers. Please stay tuned for more details on actual tryout times.

A few things to be aware of that might play into your decision:

• Players will be able to attend practices after middle school dismissal. Practice typically starts after HS dismissal time. Players DO NOT get dismissed early for practices.
• Transportation to BHS for practice and home games is not provided. Players will be responsible for arranging transportation to the high school and be able to make it there as soon as possible.
• Players will be dismissed early from class for away games if needed. Bus transportation from the middle schools to the away games is provided.

In our drive to support our local community programs. Blaine Bengal Softball is teaming up with Soderville Fastpitch to help support their 2023 Hit-A-Thon. This will be a great chance for the HS players to meet and work with younger players as well as help them achieve their goals by shagging balls, setting up tees and other duties. More details coming soon!

A couple things to note:

• This calendar is to be used as a guideline and is NOT official for games and practices. Please confirm with players and coaches as they have the most up-to-date information.
• Practices are listed if we need to use the fieldhouse.  If it is warm enough practices will be held outside after school instead.
• The practice times on the calendar include 30min for stretching.  This will occur up in the balcony area.  After warmups our time in the gym will start. 
• The calendar includes dates and times for games from the NWSC site.  This can be stale, please refer to the NWSC site or coaches for the most up to date information.
