The remainder of the week we are planning to be fully outside after school if weather allows. Inside times if needed are: Tuesday: 6:15-8:00pm Wednesday-Friday 4:30-6:15 Will post an update here next week when more information is available. As always these times are subject to change. Wednesday March 27, 2024 there will be parent/player meeting at 6:30 at Blaine High School in room SW170. Friday April 26, 2024 is Youth Night. It will be a 4:30 PM start versus Cambridge.  A few quick notes:
Middle school players are now welcome to register for the 2024 season. You can do so by using ParentVue and going under "Fees". There will then be a button to pay for fees and activities. Please note the same rules apply: you must have a current sports physical on file with the HS prior to registration. Originally we had said MS would not start until March 18th however with the recent changes by the district we will allow MS students to start on March 13th with everyone else. We will meet at 1:30 in the Mezzanine and then practice from 2-4 in the field house and outside. If you had made other plans for Spring Break that is not a problem. You can still join us on March 18th. Just let coach Nienaber know your plans. He will have the schedule for the following week shortly. Waiting to get a little closer and look at the weather. A few things to be aware of that might play into your decision:
Like previous years, we may not need every MS player and it is possible that we cut some. If you are cut as a MS player please know that we want you to come back next year. Any cuts made will happen by March 22nd and players will receive a full refund. (Cuts could happen before that) The majority of MS players will play on the 9th grade team. If the coaching staff thinks a player is ready to move higher that is a decision that the school needs to approve. Monday March 11- Captains practice 2:00-4:00
Tuesday March 12 - Captains practice 2:00-4:00 Wednesday- Friday- Arrive 1:30 in Mezzanine Tryouts/Practice 2:00-4:00. We will be both inside and outside. Be prepared for dirt, turf and/or gym. Possibly all on the same day. The week of March 18 we are planning to be fully outside after school.
